Giving Wallet Setup

To create a Giving Wallet, follow these steps:
1. Login to your Account

2. Select the Account you want to create a Wallet for (ie. If you have a Personal Account set your view to your Personal Account. If you are creating a Wallet for your Organization, switch your profile to your Organization).

3. Click the Hamburger in the upper left-hand corner of your screen

4. Select Wallet

5. Agree to the Terms

6. Click Open My Wallet to activate your Wallet

Note: From time to time, the Wallet feature is down for maintenance. If you receive this notification, please come back later to finish the setup process or transaction.

To load funds to a Giving Wallet, follow these steps:

1. Click Add Funds 

2. Enter your Credit Card information (we use STRIPE to process your transaction and do not store your credit card information)

3. Click AGREE and you will see that your Wallet is now loaded with funds

To make a Donation, follow these steps:

1. Click the ADDRESS icon in the top right-hand corner to add your ADDRESS to your Donor-Advised Account. You must have a US-based address that is verifiable

2. Click MAKE A DONATION on the GIVING WALLET dashboard

3. Search the Directory for vetted nonprofits

4. Select a nonprofit

5. Select an amount or put in a custom amount that is greater than $3

6. Click next and view the fees to complete the transaction. 

7. Click COMPLETE TRANSACTION to finish your grant request to the receiving nonprofit

Note: Your donation will be made to a donor advised fund at the American Online Giving Fund (AOGF), registered in the United States. You will be able to provide donor advice to direct all, or a portion, of your donation, to the recipient cause of your choice within the Spotlight app. AOGF disburses donations to recipient charities once a month. Recipient charities will receive your donation, minus transaction fees. By willingly participating in fundraising within the Spotlight app, you agree (i) that your donation shall be non-refundable and (ii) to our Terms & Conditions (iii) to our donation and fundraising policy.
